Massage Therapy Schools

People today are more stressed than ever. They spend long days at the office, too many hours sitting in traffic, and not nearly enough time relaxing and recuperating from all the exertion. You can be the solution to this nation-wide dilemma as a certified massage therapist.

Massage therapists help people relax mentally and physically by skillfully manipulating their muscles and other soft tissues. With a practiced touch massage therapists help relieve pain, heal injuries, increase relaxation and boost the overall wellness of their clients.

In 2014, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) stated that there were 168,800 massage therapist jobs in the United States. Even more compelling, the BLS predicts the number of massage therapist jobs to increase by 22 percent between 2014 and 2024. This will account for an additional 36,500 massage therapist positions. This growth is much faster than the expected growth for all other occupations.
